Susan Boyle is one lucky lady, as one young woman was able to save her from choking.

According to Thaindian News (via the Sun), young mom Lisanne Scott was at an Asda store when she saw Susan Boyle choking on a pineapple tart.

Lisanne Scott had recognized Susan Boyle but thought nothing of it until she noticed that the singer was shouting and clutching her throat. As the young mom explains, "Subo was very upset and was gasping for breath. A woman was punching her on the back but it wasn't hard enough. I left my shopping trolley and ran over to help. I gave her some hard thumps and that seemed to do the trick and clear her throat. I was just glad to help her. She is a lovely singer and a nice lady."

We can prevent choking incidents by chewing food properly, making sure dentures fit properly, keeping children away from small objects, and not consuming too much alcohol while eating.

Wow! God put them together that day! Anyone else might have thought that, as a singer, Boyle was maybe just touching her throat because it was sore or something.
