"Young and the Restless": Fighting for Life and Love

After being knocked out cold, Daniel is in the hospital fighting for his life. He has a concussion and had to fight hypothermia from Daisy leaving him out in the cold and taking off with his jacket. Once Daisy fled the scene, she leaves her newborn baby at the Genoa City church only for a home-less passer-by to find. For now, we won't know what has happened to the innocent little baby girl. Phyllis is heart-broken and begins blaming herself for Daniel's condition and prays for him to wake up.

It looks for now that Adam just might be doomed. Vance had dropped him as a client because he feels he can't win the case. Sharon reaches out to Jack at Crimson Lights as a last resort and he begins to think over some of the things he has said. Later, Jack visits Adam to find out just why would Victor take Skye over to Hawaii to set him up. After visiting Adam, Jack heads to Memorial hospital to speak with Nick. Nick doesn't see the situation the way Jack does and believes Adam is just making up stories. When Nick brings up Victor and Skye being alone together in the elevator during the time a tornado ripped through Genoa City, it peaks Jacks interest. Jack asks Nick for the security tapes in the elevator at that time. Although hesitant, Nick later calls the office security department, asking them to find the tape from the elevator on the day after the tornado struck. Jack just might be Adam and Sharon's last hope to getting him out of jail...

Now that Chloe and Kevin have processed their love for each other, the universe just hasn't aligned in their direction. Jana is still hovering over Kevin, trying to win him back. After knocking herself out with a stone and causing a concussion (although, she told everyone else that Daisy attacked her), she wakes up the next day to pretend she has had a memory lapse. Kevin is worried about Jana and her lack of memory, so he takes her to the doctor. While Jana is in with the doctor, Kevin calls Chloe to tell him of their set-back. Chloe comes to the hospital. Jana appears to believe that it is February 19^th, 2010, and has forgotten the entire year of 2010 (her divorce with Kevin and the kidnapping). The doctor pronounce her with post-traumatic stress. He informs Kevin that for the time being, he must humor Jana, and let her go on thinking that the two of them are still married. Meanwhile, while alone behind the curtain, Jana smiles at the thought of how well she seems to have pulled this one off. She will try at anything to win Kevin back.

A little later, Nicki and Victor have a somewhat normal conversation without fighting. While Victor holds back any emotions that he may have, they speak about their Christmas and what a joy it was to have everybody over. She then asks if its okay if she still spends time at the ranch so she can ride her house and visit with the dog. Nicki speaks of how much the ranch still means to her and how there are still so many memories there. Victor agrees that they both made some wonderful memories there. As she leaves, Nicki makes a comment, that no matter what, both of them will always seem to look after each other. Victor replies that he hopes so. He continues to ponder over the Christmas photos that Nicki has shared with him after she leaves the office.
