"Young and the Restless": Jana Will Do Anything for Love

After the divorce was final, Jana just can't seem to let Kevin move on. It's true that she definitely went through a horrific tragedy after being kidnapped by Daisy and Ryder and being trapped in a cage with Lauren. That would definitely leave a mark in anybody's mind giving what Jana went through. But then later, Jana forgave Ryder, and began spending more time with him-as she fell in love with him. This is the mistake that destroyed Jana and Kevin's relationship. Kevin just found it sick that Jana could be anywhere near the guy after what Ryder had done to her. Although, Jana believed that most of her kidnapping was a result of Daisy's actions.

Once Ryder was out of the picture, and of course, Jana and Kevin's divorce was final, it just wasn't enough for her. As Kevin was trying to move on through dating and developing feelings for Chloe, Jana somehow keeps putting herself back into his life. The once sweet British gal we knew Jana to have been has turned into a manipulative woman who is out for love. She will do just about anything to get her grip into Kevin.

Jana first got her taste of Kevin again after their one-night stand. Kevin was upset about Chloe's reaction after the first time he professed he had feelings for her. Chloe claimed that she didn't feel the same way and couldn't understand why he would have feelings for her. The first profession led to Chloe moving out, which led to Kevin feeling pretty angry and down. Kevin treated his feelings of rejection by hopping into bed with Jana, only realizing it was a mistake afterward. Although, this led Jana believe that Kevin still felt something for her, and she continued to push.

Then Jana tried to seduce Kevin with her home-cooking. Earlier, Kevin had gotten a reminder of Jana's cooking stopping by Daniel's apartment one day. He had told her he remembered some of her wonderful dishes. Jana remembers what he says,and comes to his place a few days later with some dinner and a bit of dessert. This time, Jana tries to win Kevin over with her food. While Kevin enjoyed it greatly, Jana still doesn't reach his heart.

During the Christmas season, Kevin and Chloe are having fun taking some fun seasonal holiday "family photos." The portrait included Kevin, Chloe and her daughter Delia. The three of them are having a delightful time. Jana witnesses the scene and is angered by their happiness. She calls child and family services to report a child being used in an improper photo. As a result, child and family services do visit Kevin and Chloe, but when they realize there is no harm, they leave. Jana loses again.

When Jana finds out that Kevin is interested in adopting Daisy's baby, Jana does everything to get on Daisy's good side. She even changes her statement to the police about Daisy kidnapping her. Jana believed that if Kevin got the baby, the both of them could be a family... Later to Jana's dismay, she then finds out that Kevin isn't interested in adopting the baby anymore though...

On New Year's eve, Jana witnesses Chloe and Kevin professing their love for each other. This time, Chloe is professing her love to Kevin. Hurt by the scene, Jana knocks herself out with a concrete block, making it look as if Daisy attacked her. She plays upon Kevin's sympathy and interrupts the romantic moment between Kevin and Chloe. After doctors find the Jana has a concussion, she must stay the night at Kevin's to be monitored. When Jana wakes up the next morning, she pretends to have lost her memory of the entire previous year and makes Kevin believes that she thinks they are still married. Kevin takes Jana to the hospital, and the doctor tell Kevin that she is suffering from post-traumatic stress. Kevin must humor her until her memory returns. This will result in Jana staying with Kevin for how-ever long she will need. Although, this is another one of Jana's ploys to come between he and Chloe...

Even though Chloe and Kevin have both confessed their love for one another, it looks like their relationship just might have to be put on the back burner. As long as Jana keeps coming up with situations to reel herself back in Kevin's life, it seems that he will never get a chance to move on. Jana will do just about anything for his love-and she doesn't care how it affects the lives of everyone else around them.
