'Young and the Restless': Victor's Losing Battle

As Daniel is sleeping away at the hospital and trying to come completely out of unconsciousness (although the Dr says the MRI's say clear), everything else around him seems to be coming together in Genoa City.

Victor is slowly losing the battle to keeping Adam locked behind bars. He's already lost at the mediation meeting with his daughters, Victoria and Abby. Part of Victor's assets with the company must be frozen which will ruin current business deals and cost employees to lose their jobs. Nick and Victor are both angered by the new set of news. Victor hosts a news conference and blames his daughter's ingratitude, but believes that the company will pull through. Nick heads to Victoria and Billy and lectures Victoria, telling her how she is ruining the company. Before Nick gets to far ahead of himself, Billy comes home and rescues Victoria, telling him to leave his house.

In the mean time, as all falls apart around Victor, Billy is still working on his surprise for Victoria. He has wired a million dollars to Primrose. Although, he can't get the baby until the other million has been transferred. As Billy see's Victoria's despair of winning her father's case, losing a relationship to her father, perhaps Nick and losing custody of her son Reed, Billy feels that he must work fast. He calls Primrose to let him know that he will be giving her the money tonight and coming to pick up the baby.

Adam is hoping that he will be out of jail soon. Jack finds new evidence in Hawaii to prove that Skye was in Hawaii. Although Jack makes sure that Adam knows that he isn't doing this for him. Jack just wants to see "the mustache" pay for what he did. In Hawaii, Jack finds Skye's key-chain holding the key to her post-office box where the perfume was delivered. Jack has a photo of Skye holding the key-chain, a bottle of her perfume, and the actual key-chain. Jack gives the evidence to Sharon and Adam who then hand it over to Vance. Vance takes the new evidence to the DA. Sharon and Adam patiently wait the judge's ruling if Adam will be granted bail.

Heather is coming close to learning about Chance still being alive. As she searches further into the drug ring case, she begins finding new clues. She listens to the wire tap from the night of Chance's shooting. Paul tells her it sounds if the gun Ronan was using had blanks. Heather then meets with the head of the EMT's that were on staff that night. The head doesn't recognize any of the staff from the photo. He tells her that none of those men are on his team. Heather is stumped, and realizes something isn't right.

Nina finds out from Heather about Ronan's illness and she tells Ronan that she is donating half of her liver to him, should she be compatible. Ronan is furious about Heather telling Nina. Once Ronan finds out that Heather is fishing around in the case and has refused to keep his illness a secret, he tells her to leave him and the case alone.

Some time later, Daniel begins to wake up again, asking for his mother. Phyllis comes to Daniel's side and asks him if he remembers the night with Daisy... he answers yes. Later at Victor's ranch, Diane and Kyle have accepted Victor's request to move in. They are both elated. Although when Jack comes by to gloat about Victor's life is just about to get much worse, he finds out that the two of them have moved in. Jack isn't happy at all and demands to Diane to know why..."Now!"
