Chloe and Kevin try to sneak away to get some time alone in the backseat of a car. They are both feeling the pressure of having to hide behind Jana's back. Kevin speaks with Jana's psychologist to find out if there is anyway they can speed up the process of Jana finding out the truth of the present events. While Kevin is talking with the psychologist outside the door, he doesn't realize that Jana is listening in on the other side. While he feels bad for Jana's memory loss, he also says his life is good right now, and he doesn't want to ruin that.
Jana continues her act with the psychologist, as she pretends to remember being locked up by Sheila. She speaks of her bad memories of being locked up like an animal and becomes over-emotional. Jana convinces the psychologist that she still needs to move slow about remembering events from the previous year.
Daniel is released from the hospital as the doctor gives him the okay and removes the bandages. Phyllis finds herself being over-protective of her son as she takes him home. While Daniel realizes that his mother is just worried about him, he does feel her being over-bearing. He gently tells his mother that he will be okay, and that he needs some time alone to himself. Daniel also hopes that his baby girl will get to be with a good home instead of with Daisy. He doesn't remember the baby already being born yet. A little later after his mother leaves, Daniel finds a sketch of a baby that he completed. So far, there have been no reports about finding Daisy.
Billy brings the baby home to Victoria. Victoria is stunned by her beauty but is afraid to hold it. She replies that if she holds it, she will love it. Victoria doesn't understand how they could have adopted a baby so fast. She is unsure about it, and is afraid that the baby could be taken away. Billy assures Victoria that the baby is theirs, and that she doesn't need to worry. He also shows her the adoption documents and the birth certificate. As the baby begins to cry, and Billy is unable to soothe her, Victoria gives in, and holds the baby. Seconds later, Victoria has fallen in love with the baby girl.
