Johnny Depp in his 44 years of life has been threw many obstacles, and has had many interesting adventures on the way to growing up and turning into a celebrity. He is a man of many talents, and still to this day embraces the most of them. A devoted father, and legendary actor, this is Johnny Depp's story.

John Christopher Depp the second was born to John Christopher Depp Jr. and Betty Sue Palmer on June 9, 1963, in Ownsburo, Kentucky. As a child, him and his siblings, Danny, Christine, and Debbie, where always on the move. He and his family finally settled down when he was seven years old in Miramar, Florida. As Johnny grew he became very self conscience, and family problems had begun to rise. At such a young age, its hard to know what to do with all the stress, so in return Johnny took part in self harm acts. He once quoted, " My body is like a journey in a way. It's like what sailors use to do. Every tattoo means something to a specific time in your life. When you make a mark on yourself, whether you do it yourself with a knife, or with a professional tattoo artist."

Because of this period in his life, he still has around eight scars. In 1978, when Johnny was 15, his parents came to the decision to get a divorce. He lived with his mother after the divorce was final. Johnny, shortly after, dropped out of school to pursue his current love interest, which was music, and started a band. He and his band called themselves The Kids. As the band continued to make progress, the group decided to go to Los Angeles, in hopes of getting a record label. Shortly after the move, the band decided to change their name this time to Six Gun Method. While doing some small shows, Johnny meet a woman named Lorianne Allison, which was the drummers sister, and Depp's makeup artist. They connected very well, and from that began a relationship. Shortly after their relationship began, they married on December 20, 1983. Johnny was 20 years of age. His new marriage didn't bring well wishes from the band, but instead, put a strain on the on them causing many fights. In almost no time at all, the band broke their ties, and there was no more Six Gun Method. They never succeeded in finding a record label.

Soon after the bands split, Lorianne introduced Nicholas Cage to Johnny. It was then, Thanks to Nicholas's Persistence, that Johnny began to pursue an acting career. In 1985, Depp had gotten divorced from Lorianne. They had no children. Johnny's first major role was in The Nightmare on Elm Street, as the heroes boyfriend, and Freddy's victim. Later on in 1987, he signed a contract with Jump Street, a new television series. Jump Street turned Johnny into a star almost over night, being labeled the new teen heart throb and idol. The very shy Johnny didn't like that idea much, so he had made a promise to himself that from then and on he would take roles in which he was either interested in or could easily relate to. Along side of that he also vowed to never work on a tv show again. He hated the idea of being famous. Later on in 1990, Johnny met Winona Rider on the set of Edward Sizzorhands, in which they both stared.

Their co working warmed into a relationship, which rather quickly warmed into an engagement, and to declare Johnny's love, he even got Winona forever tattooed on his arm. However the relationship came to a very abrupt ending before any wedding bells where ever heard, and the tattoo on Johnny's arm was later changed to Wino forever. Between the years of 1990 and 1998 came two more engagements to Sherilyn Fenn, and Kate Moss, but neither one he actually wed. As a matter a fact it wasn't until he met the french singer and actress, and his co star on the ninth gate, Vanessa Paradise did he really ever fall head over heals and settle down. He still hasn't wed her, now, coming to the conclusion that marriage wasn't for him, but from the looks of it, he isn't leaving her anytime soon either. In May 1999, Vanessa bore Johnny's first child, Lilly Rose Melody Depp. Later on down the road in April of 2002, Johnny had his second child with Vanessa, Jack John Christopher Depp, named after his idol, Jack the Ripper. As of today, Johnny lives and relaxes in one of three places. Either his Los Angeles home, his Villa in France (which he spends most of his time) or the island he owns in the Bahamas.
