If your eyes are bloodshot you should try buying eye drops to put in your eyes. The main reason for bloodshot eyes is that your eyes are too dryed out. If you have contacts and your eyes are bloodshot you either need to take out the contacts every night or buy contacts with hydroclear which moisten your eyes. You will also need to get your eyes tested for glaucoma and stigmatisms. Even with a stigmatism you can still wear glasses and contacts.
Your eyes may get stronger or weaker as time passes. If you usually wear contacts, switching to glasses will strengthen your eyes and you will notice at your next eye exam that one or both of your eyes is better than the other. If you wear contacts you will need to remove the contacts at night unless they are made for continous wear. You will always need to change the contacts at the time stated by your eye doctor unless you want to hurt your eyes and have buildup on your eyes and contact lenses.
If you do not take care of your eyes you will not notice the side effects until it is too late. By the time you realize how bad you're eyes have gotten there's nothing you can do to reverse the process. The best idea is to take care of your eyes now before it's too late to do anything about it. Make sure that if your eyes are dryed out you bring along eye drops to moisten them. If your eyes are irritated you will need to see the eye doctor because there could be more serious problems brewwing.
If you haven't had an eye exam in over 2 years, now is a good idea to make an appointment and see the eye doctor. Get an eye exam and if you eyes are in need of contacts or glasses buy them immediately. I would suggest contacts but you need to buy the right kind for your situation. You will either need contacts with hydroclear or you will need overnight contacts. There are many different kinds and price ranges to choose from.
