Arrested Development, the Emmy-award winning television show following the fictional Bluths, was canceled in 2006 but has lived on in not only syndication but also online.
MSN saw the light and started offering streaming episodes of the show in late 2006. Microsoft's aim is to be a streaming television show alternative to AOL's innertube with MSN Video, and Arrested Development is a shining gem. They've got the full series online. The link to watch Arrested Development online is HERE. No registration is necessary. I found the servers to be slow in loading the video, a slight annoyance.
Another option? Hulu. A newer video streaming entry set up by NewsCorp and NBC Universal in 2007, has a big variety. Registration is necessary. The link to watch Arrested Development online through Hulu is HERE.
However, both MSN and Hulu are meant for U.S. netizens only, and will block your viewing if you come in from elsewhere. What about worldwide? This becomes a grey area, but the most legal way to get through the barriers is hopping onto MySpace. Currently, Hulu has most of its shows loaded on MySpace Video (partially because the site is owned by NewsCorp, 'natch) and Arrested Development is covered extensively.
Go HERE to see the main area for Arrested Development on MySpace. No MySpace registration required.
If you want to break free of these commercial sites, there's an even greyer area to venture to, as someone has set up a mirror of Hulu that breaks the requirement of being from the U.S. Go HERE for this mirror.
Likewise, if you really want to stretch the boundaries, drop by OmegaTube and you can watch a selection of episodes and download them too.
But you wouldn't want to do that, would you?
If you really want to eschew the online video craze and feel more at home not watching Arrested Development online but on the boob tube, G4 has the syndication rights. The show previously was on nightly, then got plopped onto marathon block Saturday morning runs, then stopped completely -- but now it is back. G4's schedule for the series is HERE.
In Canada, the CBC has picked up syndication rights much to the delight of Canucks. Global previously ran the series during its original run.
Of course, for the best way to Save Our Bluths, buy the DVDs like I did. You can't imagine how fun it is to watch the series without interruption and pick up on all the hints you never thought you would. A surefire way to laugh on a lonely afternoon.
Salute!

Not sure if it works everywhere...
Myspace wont let you through outside the US. Studying abroad is the worst decision I've ever made
I'll check to see if these are still up and running. I have one fanatical Arrested Development fan in this family, much appreciated!
