Your Homemade Fountain of Youth

These days everybody is looking for the fountain of youth. We all want to look younger, feel younger and act younger. What would you say if someone told you that you could have the energy and vigor you had 10 - 12 years ago? Do you think it would be possible? Well, read on.

There isn't a single person who wouldn't want to feel or look younger and be full of energy. Although the fountain of youth has not been found, there are steps that you can take to make yourself feel better and live life at it's fullest.

Step 1 - The food you eat. We've all heard of the phrase "garbage in, garbage out". Well that's exactly what happens when it comes to food. What ever you put in your body, you'll get that out of your body. If you put in foods that are alive, with their full enzymes and minerals then you're putting life into your body. Processed foods with all kinds of additives and purities are putting lifeless things in your body.

If you had to choose, try eating raw vegetables and fruits as they are life giving elements and will feed your body directly to it's source. Stay away from processed or fast foods. These basically have no health element at all and are nothing more that sickness disguised as food.

Step 2 - Exercise. Sure we've all heard it, but never have time to do it. Exercise will prolong your life, period. Set time every other day to get out and do some form of exercise. Walk the dog, run, hike or even work in the yard. If it's winter time, a great exercise is to put on your snowsuit and just walk through a field of snow. This will get the heart pumping and blood flowing like nothing else.

Step 3 - Laugh. The more you laugh, the younger you'll feel. Laughter is a natural stress reliever. If you've been feeling down lately, then maybe you should rent your favorite movie or go see your favorite comedian. Laughing will release positive hormones in your body that will make you feel even better and give you more energy throughout your day. I'm sure you have felt the affects of being moody or depressed as compared to laughing. Look for laughter in everything you do and watch it do wonders for your body.
