Your Imperishable Inheritance Even the IRS Can't Touch

A Non-Taxable Inheritance Can Be Yours

Jack Wellman
Born again Christians are said to be fellow heirs with Christ (Rom. 8:17) and that we have an inheritance that is permanently sealed in heaven by the Holy Spirit (Eph. 1:11-14). This inheritance is not only eternal life (Titus 3:7) but a heavenly inheritance that is unlike earthly inheritances that will like in ruin someday like those ancient Roman mansions that now lie in a state of decay (Heb. 11:9,10; 13:16).

The mansion that Jesus has prepared for those who are His is so spectacular that it can not even be described because the Son of God Himself has prepared it for us (John 14:2). The word for mansion is actually describing a position in the Kingdom of Heaven but there are actual, tangible riches. It is permanent (I Pet. 1:4) and reserved in Heaven (Rev. 3:12) and this inheritance is from God Himself (Col. 3:24).

I have written three books in the hopes that my children and grandchildren will receive my inheritance to aide their going to college, not to get rich. I also planned on my books being a legacy to leave so that they know what their father and grandfather believed. My children qualified for this inheritance for the simple fact that they are my children, because they are my own family. Likewise, the Father has qualified us to inherit His entire and universal Kingdom, because we are His own children (Col. 1:12). However, my children's inheritance is earthly and temporary but God's is permanent and imperishable (I Pet. 1:4). It will never fade, be corrupted, tarnish, or be destroyed, defiled or taken by the IRS!

How would you feel if I told you that you and all other born again Christians will inherit the whole earth (Matt. 5:5) and that they will rule with Christ as kings and priests (Rev. 5:10)? Even more incredible is that Christians will inherit everything, that is all things (Rom 8:32/Heb 2:8)! The word for "all things" is from the Greek, "ta panta" which translates into "all things, everything that is seen, and everything that is unseen". It is just too much to put into words. Revelation 21:7 is clear that this inheritance is everything there is in the universe.

If you have not already made the commitment to join the family of God and to have your name in the Book of Life (Rev. 3:5/20:12), it is not too late to sign up (Acts16:30-31). Your fee's have been paid (John3:16) and not even the IRS can touch it. Do it today and when you die, your inheritance awaits you. You can bank on it. Here's how you can join this rich inheritance:

Admit - that you are a sinner and in need of a Savior (Rom 6:23)

Abandon - self-effort and realize you can not be saved by works or efforts (Acts 16:31)

Accept freely Christ's payment for your sins, required of the Father that He paid in full (John 3:16)

Acknowledge Jesus Christ as your personal lord and Savior (Acts 4:12)

If you have just received Jesus, you have now received God's inheritance rights since youare now a son or daughter of His and can never be lost again & live forever (John 10:28-29). Now, join a Bible-believing church, or call 1-888-NeedHim (633-3446) for follow up questions about salvation that is only available through Jesus Christ.

That is quite refreshing that IRS can't touch my eternal riches because of Christ Jesus. Great article Jack.

Great article. The earth, as we know it, is only temporary. I love the sign of true believers, "if you love me, you will keep my commandments." Nothing sweeter to the Lord than true repentance. God bless.

I love your boldness here, Jack. I guess this is what the world needs, bold men and women who will stand up for Jesus. Btw, I saw this article posted in my friend's (based in UK) facebook account. She's also a fan of your works! :-)
