The Kermit-Ford ad proves that the word "green" definitely translates with more punch in a global-warming world. With the right emotive music, any panoramic shot of lush mountains and rugged trails leaves us choking with tears at its slow demise. The Ford logo on the back of the hybrid is a nice one-word message trailing the most trustworthy character this generation knows: Kermit the Frog. Only Kermit could take our inner child to the grief of global warming and wrap it in a pitch for a hybrid. Who cares the cost? My inner-Kermit says H is for Hybrid! This ad would do better in January 2007 after the gas price hikes last summer.
