Your Las Vegas Nightclub Travel Guide for Freakin' Frog

BDS Denver
With a name like Freakin' Frog, word of mouth growing is extremely likely. So what is Freakin' Frog? Located east of The Strip in Las Vegas, it calls South Maryland Parkway home. This hangout is for college kids, locals and alcohol lovers of all backgrounds.

With no cover to speak of, this makeshift beer brewery is something of a spectacle for booze enthusiasts. $8 and up is where you'll find the mixed drink prices, but the real deal is found in the hops. Freakin Frog has all sorts of refreshment specials to keep everyone happy and having fun.

Of course beer, for most people anyway, doesn't define the nightlife universe alone, and Freakin' Frog also offers sandwiches and your typical array of pub snacks. Open nightly from 5p.m.-2a.m., this location is one where you will see many familiar faces from the regulars.

Freakin' Frog is unique insofar as its mainstay is actually downstairs. This is where beer spirits flow with 10 taps that change weekly. 500 vintage choices are also available, and as one would expect hearing that information, a stock including brews from all over the globe. The 'Whiskey Attic' is upstairs where several whiskey types very fine in quality reside.

This hangout is directed at those looking to meet up with some cronies, and not necessarily for the décor. With the exception of some covered chairs the Whiskey Attic, the setting is bare minimum which is almost encouraged as its appeal.

The staff at Freakin' Frog is its strength by their own admission. With backgrounds in beer almost as if it were a College degree, they are well versed in what they are serving and eager to answer customer inquiries.

Overall this beer powerhouse is a force to be reckoned with by those looking to hang out and converse all night with the 21-40 year old crowd. A huge positive is its wide range of patrons, making it a free ticket to great discussion among booze hounds. Considering the selection of alcohol and such random and hard to find beers running at around $4, casual visitors are all over the place. Keep in mind that because there is such a vast array of specialties, it is usually a good idea to check their website of the same name to see if your favorites are currently available. Enthusiasts are also encouraged to ask for certain beers or request new choices for the future.
