Your Loves....Mom Hates You

What if his mom has heard bad stuff about you, or thinks you have a bad reputation, but has
no first-hand evidence? This happens all the time. Moms are so protective of their children
and hate to think of them ending up with "bad influence".

But reputations are funny things they can be based in fact, but other times are nothing more
than gossip. If you feel you're being unfairly judged, and your reputation doesn't fairly
represent you, ask your love to explain that to his or her mom- and get him to ask her to
spend time with you for example inviting you over for a weekend lunch so she can judge you
for herself, not based on rumors.

Whatever strategy you decide to use, you have to know that winning his mom over may involve
really humbling yourself. Toss your pride out the window, because you might have to grovel and
kiss up quite a bit, to get his mom to give you a chance. Ask your BF to plead your case with
his mom, and request another chance for you to make a good impression.
