Since December I thought it was just a hurt finger,
the pain was determined to forever linger,
Doc said it was really the palm of my hand,
I still let it ride, buried my head in the sand.

I finally gave in to his quick fix,
just a little surgery, just a few nicks.
I still remain your loyal fan,
still reading your articals and rating them,
I haven't ran.
I'll still comment with a smiley face,
but as for long comments and publishing,
I'm totally out of the race.
