Your MySpace and Associated Content Works

My Solution for More Page Views Using MySpace Blogs

WriteOnMom
I have not been doing articles for Associated Content very long but I have found a few things that work well for me as far as page views go.

Like many of you, I post on forums that I frequent once I have an article that goes live. However, I also post links on my MySpace page and I get quite a few hits that way as well. Between my friends telling their friends about an article or just by people searching blogs for certain content.

The problem I saw with using my MySpace blog to post links to my articles was that my blog was getting crammed packed and my older blogs were getting pushed so far down that they could no longer be viewed even when choosing "View All Blog Postings".

I took care of this problem today and if any of you out there use MySpace to promote your articles this may work for you as well.

I signed into my Myspace account and went to Manage Blog. I choose to POST NEW BLOG, and titled it CONDENSED. I then went through my CP page and copied and pasted all of the links into a hyperlink with the article title as the click able link. Then did a brief description of each article. I also informed people in the beginning of my blog that I would still post each new piece individually for a few days before adding it to my condensed blog section. I went on to inform them that if they wanted to comment on my MySpace blog about an article to wait until it was moved into the condensed section so that I could reply if needed and so that when I went through and deleted the links and added them to the condensed article section their comments would remain. I also left a click able link to my Associated Content CP Page and left my referral link there as a click able link.

As soon as I was finished posting my condensed article blog my blog numbers immediately started going up. If those numbers go up and people see something that they may have missed or see something that they had not read yet, then in turn our page views here on Associated Content will go up as well.

I am hoping this method will prove to work better for me in the long run. I also hope that it works for some of you as well.

Good Luck to all of you and happy writing!

Great ideas. I haven't been on my space in awhile, I need to get back on it.

Thanks for that! You may try reposting some of your articles on MySpace every once in awhile so that people will get another chance to see them. It worked for me recently.
