Your Old PC is an Asset, Don't Sell it for Junk

With changing technology day by day, sometimes it becomes necessary for us to buy a new PC to keep up with the changing technology.

A PC which you had bought maybe 4 years back becomes so obsolete in terms of technology that you can rest assured that if you sell it, you will not even get 20% of the original Cost. Just think, is it wise to sell your old PC at peanuts price when you can use it in a better and useful way at your home.

There is lot you can do with your old PC if it is still in the working condition. You just need to acquire some extra hardware/software like DVD writer/TV Tuner card if already not there. They come at dirt cheap rate these days.

Below are few tips to utilize your old PC in a better way:

Multimedia centre: You and your family can watch movies; listen to music, family photos taken with digital camera. In short, complete entertainments centre for your family. This anyways you were doing but now you new PC is free from all this.

Gaming Zone: The old computer may have old graphics and sound drivers. If you don't want to change them, still there are thousands of games which can be freely downloaded and will work perfectly with existing graphics and sound cards. Transform your computer into a gaming zone for your family and friends.

Reminders/Alerts/Clock: lots of software available for speech reminders and clock system. Just search tying words "talking reminders", "talking watch". Install the software and you have speech enabled watch and reminders as per the customized setting.

Now you will not forget you doctor's appointment or your mother in law visit as speech enabled reminder's make you remember them.

Television: It can be utilized as TV set by installing a Tuner card. You have an extra TV which always wanted so you can watch your favorite shows /Games.
