Lies and Truth so closely intertwined
Sometimes it's hard to see clear
Often those who hold our faith
Fortify their strength through our fear
We need to see beyond the veil
To question that which seems so real
Truth is not about rules we are taught
Our own will, truth does not shake or steal
We need to seek what is true
And recognize the colorful disguise
That so carefully tries to close our minds
And poisons our hearts with complex lies
To find truth, open your heart
Let it breathe and find its own light
Your heart will lead you to your own path
And to the truth of what is wrong or right

Thanks Donna, beautiful thoughts!
Excellent as always :)
How true.
I believe being truthful especially with yourself is a postive form of growth and self awarness. However, I will NEVER be truthful when I ask myself, "Do I look fat in this bathing suit?"
