Your Product, Service or Website Already Has a Web Page at Auction Buzz

What is the Blogosphere Saying About Your Site?

Assoc Content
AuctionBuzz - the new website that primarily collates and displays the buzz about auction and ecommerce websites - has a page already available for your website and you can now get content featured there as easy as 1-2-3

When you visit www.AuctionBuzz.info you will be greeted with a page featuring some of the very latest blog postings related to eBay. But looking down the left hand column you can quickly see links to some of the most popular auction related searches displayed. Click on any of these and you will see the latest from the blogosphere for that search term.

But that is just the tip of the iceberg. AuctionBuzz will display a full, search engine indexable webpage for any website - including yours - with valuable back links to whatever sites are creating the buzz.

So how does AuctionBuzz work?

The main display on each page draws content from two sources. At the foot of the page you will see the latest auction and ecommerce news and comment as reported by Pheebay via our home page news section. But at the top of the page you will see live, up to the minute content about the site, product, service or keyword being queried courtesy of Google.

Use the search facility provided on the site to enter any site name or keyword you like. When you hit enter AuctionBuzz quickly fetches an up to date display performing some automatic profanity and "anti-social site" filtering at the same time. The display you then see will be items relevant to your search.

How can you get your own content featured on AuctionBuzz?

It's quite simple. Wherever blog type content is written about your site or product (by your or anyone else), make sure it's "pinged" to Google using this form. Provided Google are happy with the site hosting the content and the keyword (site name) is featured in the title or description tags of the content page, it should show up on AuctionBuzz pretty quickly - often within a couple of minutes.

How will people find my page on AuctionBuzz?

Obviously AuctionBuzz is focused on the online auction industry but, although your page may not be featured under the popular search terms, your page is still there and you can still link to it and - if the links are used - search engines will crawl it, index it so it can be found by anyone via the search engines.

The link to your page is very simple. To illustrate the point let's pretend you own the auction site Tazbar and want to link to that page. All you do is add a forward slash and the word "Tazbar" to the end of the basic AuctionBuzz URL like this - http://www.AuctionBuzz.info/Tazbar - here is a clickable version so you can see the page - http://www.AuctionBuzz.info/Tazbar. Now you can replace the word Tazbar with your own site name or keyword and see what the blogosphere is saying about your site and, if you've blogged about it yourself, it's likely your own content will display too.

How will search engines discover my page?

The important search engines constantly crawl the internet looking for links to index. So if your site isn't featured on the AuctionBuzz site, the link has to be used and found by the search engine crawlers. A simple link on a crawled page of your site that points to your AuctionBuzz page will probably be the easiest way to get your AuctionBuzz page found and indexed but you could also submit it to link pages or online directories such as Net Store Search if it fits within a relevant category.

Some other search engines create their indexes by using the META tagged information available. AuctionBuzz therefore adds your keyword to the META information on your page to make sure search engines that operate this way can also find your page.

So what is achieved by getting your AuctionBuzz page indexed? In short that page, and the various targeted content on it, will become more visible and better indexed by the search engines. As things mature this can help enormously with the overall SEO of your site. Generally speaking, the more quality, relevant links and content there is out there on the internet related to or pointing to your website the better. Without putting a little effort in to your SEO the internet can seem a very lonely place when nobody sees your site and therefore hardly anyone visits!

Hopefully this article will have given you all the information you need to make the best use of AuctionBuzz but, if you have any questions or wish to make a comment about the site, please take a look at the Pheebay forum thread here.

This sophomoric article is pure unadulterated spam by the site owner. In addition, my Norton Anti-Virus went haywire when I clicked on the link to the AuctionBuzz site he is promoting.
