Your Sigh (poem)

Complex Patterned Rhyme

Martin Kloess
What gently dies amidst your sigh
A wayward wind gives its reply
First crowds the cloud that happen by
So that the rain won't see you cry

The mist of summer in your hair
Fine signs of jasmine brush the breeze
To cover sadness scent with smile
That last past need for stars to show

Behind your eyes there lies a glow
That draws hearts in to search awhile
Oh how they tease two eyes as these
Remains a soul still lost in there

You kissed each day and softly say
Another chance explore anew
Another dance for our review
We rule the way we choose to play

And when your view was set askew
Another glance it went a way
Another trance happened to stray
From all we knew this love so true

Dismissed a world without a care
About the doubt you tried to freeze
And set adrift behind your style
That last past need to know

Though time sublime may sweetly flow
Past memories of moon kissed isle
Where dainty damsel dared to seize
Another flair last summer's air

The jealous try to twist a lie
Not prefect we I won't deny
Still wind of soul that shares your sky
So sadly dies amidst your sigh
