So violent, as if angered.
An unknown entity,
Out of control,
Slamming to the oceans floor.
Birds have disappeared in flight,
Winds carrying them far away,
Maybe to safety,
But somewhere in the night.
Souls reaching out,
Where can you be,
Anxiety swept thru me,
With profoundly empty solitude,
I sit here alone, without.
Seeking your love,
Your heart,
Your caress, your soul,
Like a love from above.
Never will we touch,
So says the hands of fate,
Dispute not cruel remorse,
For our time has ended,
Before it was too much.
I fall back into the shadows,
Never to feel your touch,
Our Fate.

Sometimes, life is not what we expected it to be, time changes all things.... When one door closes, there's usually something better behind the next door.
Star-crossed.
Beautiful yet poignant. It is so sad when a relationship ends. Great writing!
