Yours No Longer
Caress my lips
with whispers of love
with whispers of love
Embrace my heart
with gestures of eternity
Deceive my mind
with beautiful lies
I'll naively believe you,
until I realize...
You don't deserve
my touch,
my love,
my life,
and I erase your words
from the pages of my mind
see that eternity was
never yours to give
and know love was something
you never possessed.
