Texas offers many football camps and summer programs for school aged children. Some of these camps are taught by Dallas Cowboy players, University of Texas coaches and Texas A&M coaches.

Jay Novacek Day Camp

The Jay Novacek Day Camp held in both San Antonio and Keller, Texas teaches football players age seven to 18 football fundamentals such as speed training. High school football coaches head the courses with a special guest appearance from an NFL player. This is a two-day camp and campers will participate in lectures, speed training, practice football games and other workouts. Campers must provide their own football equipment and lunch for both days.

Texas Premier Football Camp

The Texas Premier Football Camp, held in Austin, Texas each summer, teaches kids speed and agility training taught by NFL players. The two-day camp covers practice football games and lectures by football players. The camp provides lunch. However, campers will need to bring their own football gear.

Mack Brown Longhorn Football Camp

The Mack Brown Longhorn Football Camp overnight football camp in Austin, Texas focuses on both improving skills and strength courses. University of Texas football coaches teach the camp. Campers do not need to bring their own football gear and meals and the staff provides meals and lodging. Open to campers in grade four through 12.

Mack Brown & Jeff Madden Speed and Explosive Power Camp

The Mack Brown & Jeff Madden Speed and Explosive Power Camp in Austin, Texas focuses on strength and speed training with workout sessions coached by the University of Texas strength and condition staff. The camp offers both overnight and day camp options and is open to children between the ages of 12 and 18.

Aggie Football Camp

Texas A&M University hosts several different speed football camps over the summer. The youth camp, open to students in grades three through eight, covers all offensive and defensive positions. The Kicking Academy, open to students grades nine through 12, focuses on kickers, punters and deep snapper. The Quarterback Academy is open to quarterbacks in grades nine through 12. Each camp focuses on strength and speed training as well as practice football matches and lectures.
