YouTube Viral Video Hall of Fame: Top Three Viral Videos

YouTube is good for mental health and I believe bosses everywhere should allow a couple of YouTube breaks during each workday. It's hard to argue with the benefits of a good laugh, a "wow" uttered in amazement, or the brain and attitude recharge that a couple of incredible videos can provide. I believe we, rightly, sneak peeks at videos whether our bosses like it or not. How else would videos go viral with millions of hits?

I love YouTube and welcome the break it affords me each day. Of course, being self-employed, I have an extremely cool boss who doesn't mind my daily YouTube break.

To make my list of top three viral videos, a video has to be clever, unique, groundbreaking, or offer a new twist on an idea. Most importantly, the video can't be more than about three minutes or it loses my interest.

My choices for top three viral videos include a brilliant Scarface parody by kids, a clever TV commercial, and the amazing musical lightshow that started upped the ante regarding Christmas holiday decorations.

Viral Video #1: Say Hello to My Little Friend

They say the imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Al Pacino and Michelle Pfeiffer should be very flattered. Al Pacino's portrayal of Tony Montana in Scarface is one of the more memorable characters in the history of cinema and therefore the target of much parody even though the role is played brilliantly. I wouldn't have thought to find its equal, yet this Scarface parody is priceless. These kids are truly talented and the delivery of the lines is dead on accurate. Viral Video #2: Commercial for Norwegian Airline

Here in America, the best TV commercials air during the Super Bowl. The rest of the year, we endure rather mundane commercials when compared to what other countries air. This video went viral for good reason and qualified for my top three list of viral videos because it made me laugh aloud.
