The contemporary home is by far the best option if you are looking to buy some more real estate. Not only is it bigger than the other houses, but it also has the most unusual room designs, and finally, the pool deck is a great and unique room where you can have a lot of fun customizing the look of your pool area. This addition has prompted another change to the general layout of the game, where there now is a lobby in your apartment building where you can visit your friends apartments directly from the lobby. This makes it a lot easier to stop by your friends without having to make sure you're both online and on the same server.

A last way to make money is at the raceway. Here you can race against your offline friends and make money by winning races. The races are a quite fun mini game where you have to pop as many wheelies as possible without flipping your bike, or spinning out in the mud. For each race you win you pocket 10 coins, up to a maximum of 20 won races. While the game is a lot more fun way of making 10 bucks than tic tac toe, it's still a very limited game, and the whole speedway addition could have been made better by adding some more elements to this section of the game.

Still, with all these new ways to make money, it still takes a lot of time and effort to be able to by the most expensive items and houses. While there are no real cheats for making fake money in YoVille, there are a few tricks you can do to make some extra cash. Maybe the most effective way of making money is to create alts, meaning that you create separate accounts that you control. By having a dummy alt that never spends any money, just makes it, you can set up trades between your main character and your alts. Of course, make sure the alts and your main character all joins each others crews, to maximize the money you make at the factory which is still going to be the main source of income. YoVille might tell you that you can't trade with your alt because you're logged in with the same ip address, if you don't have access to several different ip addresses in your home network, you can get around this by connection to YoVille through an online proxy service that conceals your ip address.

Also, please note that there is no email address where you can request getting free coins from YoVille, there are many people claiming that if you send in your passwords and user name to certain email addresses, you will be given tons of free coins. This is always a scam, and never give your email and password out to these requests, that will only lead to someone stealing your account, and possibly also taking over your MySpace or Facebook profile.

Silly Tricks

There are a few silly tricks you can do in YoVille you can do that will make people wonder what is going on. First, to do explosive jumping jacks, start the 'you're da bomb' action, and immediately after start the jumping jacks, you will be doing jumping jacks but at the end of the action instead of just standing still, you'll explode.

If you want to work in the coffee shop, walk up the stairs to the library area and right behind the bookshelf on the first floor, keep clicking on the counter behind the guy working at the coffee shop, you'll be able to walk through the railing and walk in behind the counter, then you can hang out behind the bar and make smart remarks to people coming by for a cup of coffee.

To float like a ghost, walk to the far end of the room, click to move all the way across the room. As soon as you start moving, go to change your clothes, change one article of clothing and when you are done, you'll be floating across the room without moving your legs.
