I just had to use my Yankee ingenuity, that's what I had to do. Everything can't be made in China so I had to use my great American brain to figure out how to make cafe lattes at home for pennies on the dollar and with no special equipment. And it proved to be easy.
All you need to makes these scrumptious lattes at home is a small, four cup coffee maker and a microwave oven. First, brew a minimum of one cup of coffee, but not more than that if you are only going to have one or two cups so as not to waste expensive coffee. Then fill your medium sized coffee cup halfway with whole milk, and microwave for between one and one-half minute and two minutes. Get it as hot as you can, but watch that it does not boil over. To finish, fill the rest of the cup with hot coffee (your favorite brand or flavor). Garnish with a big dollup of whipped cream and top with cinnamon or cocoa. Then sip and enjoy.
Hey, I know that we Americans must suffer because of these hard economic times and sacrifice for the wellbeing of the rest of the whole world, but lets not over do it.

One habit I have not developed is spending money on coffee, for me that is up there with smoking.:)
Yummmm!
I Love Coffee and this sounds pretty easy and inexpensive! Thanks! :)
I am always in awe at the people in the Starbuck's driveway that is backed up all the way out to the street. Waiting twenty minutes to pay three dollars, at least, for coffee is not my idea of a fun time. Thanks for the advice! =)
I love to make these, too. Guess we both watch those dollars!
Yum yum is right!
I must give it a try!
