ILLINOIS FILM NEWS, DE KALB COUNTY: Zac Efron is heading to Illinois to film, but it's not in connection with "Superman: Man of Steel."

Many times, when executives are looking for a place to shoot a film they will use a working title to disguise the real one. For example, "Autumn Frost" is what led us to "Superman: Man of Steel" which has completed its casting calls for now and will begin filming in Illinois in August. Now comes a project called, for now, the "Untitled Ramin Bahrani Project (2012)" and it will be filmed, I have learned, in De Kalb County, because of its rich and abundant farm land.

The plot is simple so far: This will be a drama which focusing on a farmer whose plans cause problems within his family.

The plans will surely get in the way of a normal farming family. Besides Efron, the film includes Dennis Quaid, Red West and Maika Monroe. So far, it can be noted that West will play a man named Clifford Whipple and Monroe is Cadence Farrow. It is to be directed by Ramin Bahrani with screenplay credits at this time by Bahrani and Hallie Elizabeth Newton.

The film is due to be released in 2012. Currently, Black Bear Pictures has been noted.

Also noted are: Killer Films, Killer Moxie Management, Noruz Films (I), Treehouse Pictures.

Meanwhile, other credits: Produced by Ramin Bahrani, Pamela Koffler, Justin Nappi, Teddy Schwarzman, Kevin Turen, Christine Vachon and Brian Young.

Cinematography: Michael Simmonds

Casting: Douglas Aibel

Production Design: Chad Keith

Set Decoration: Adam Willis
