Zapatista Cantina Lincoln Park Opening Soon

I am looking forward to the opening of the new Zapatista Cantina restaurant, that will be located at 444 West Fullerton Parkway in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood. They have two other locations, one in the South Loop and the other in Northbrook. I have been to the Northbrook restaurant, not only for lunch and dinner, but also for a baby shower that was held in one of their banquet rooms. The food is amazing, and the last time I was there, I ordered the chicken enchiladas and spicy rice. The price was $11.99 and the enchiladas were delicious. My boyfriend ordered the burritos, which I tasted and loved, for $10.00. The beef burritos were a combination of beef, sour cream cheese, romaine lettuce, pico de Gallo sauce and black beans.

I am assuming that the decor will be similar to the other restaurants, which is cozy and inviting. I love the warm color scheme of muted yellow, green, red and blue, and the arched doorways give the space an authentic cantina-type look. The bricked wall arches add to the authenticity and provide a warm environment. The Lincoln Park location will have the same hours as the other restaurants, and will be open 7 days a week. They will open at 11:30 a.m. every day, and close at 10 p.m. Monday - Thursday, at 11:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and at 9 p.m. on Sundays.
