Zarbee's cough syrup is an all natural cough remedy geared towards children. According to the website, "Zarbee's Cough Syrup contains a blend of special dark honeys, vitamins and immune-boosting ingredients. The ingredients in Zarbee's are all-natural, side-effect-free and proven in clinical trials to be effective at calming coughs and sore throats in children and young adults." My pediatrician recently told me that honey was as effective as treating a cough as Robitussin.
I tried Zarbee's for the first time after my son had an allergic reaction after taking an over the counter cough syrup. First, I gave my son the Zarbee's All Natural Nightime Cough & Sleep Drink Packets . I was a little skeptical that he would take it because we had to mix the packet with 2oz of warm water (and he doesn't like hot drinks), but he drank the grape flavored honey and elderberry drink down and asked for another! Of course he didn't get one, but his cough calmed down and when we put him down he went straight to sleep. The nighttime Zarbee's contains mealatonin, an natural sleep aid.
With the success of the nighttime Zarbee's, I went back to Rite Aid and bought the daytime version: Zarbee's All-natural Children's Cough Syrup, Grape Flavor (4 Oz) which is a bled of honey, vitamin C, and zinc. The daytime version also soothed his cough and best of all, my son liked the taste!
Where to Get Zarbee's
Since it is a fairly new product, Zarbee's isn't available everywhere. So far I have found it at Rite Aid and Walgreens. Other local grocery chains also carry Zarbee's. Check Zarbees.com to see if your favorite store carries it. You can also order Zarbee's online at Amazon.com for a reasonable price. Here are the links: Zarbee's All Natural Nightime Cough & Sleep Drink Packets ($4.95)and Zarbee's All-natural Children's Cough Syrup, Grape Flavor (4 Oz) ($7.19) or ZarBee's All-Natural Children's Cough Syrup, Cherry 4 fl oz (118 ml) .
Where to Get Zarbee's Coupons
The only place online that I have found a Zarbee's coupon is on Coupons.com and those coupons have appeared at the month during cold season and disappeared after a few days, after the max number of prints had been reached for the product.
Another place to look for a Zarbee's Coupon is on the Zarbee's website. Though I have not seen one on there yet, it is a common practice for manufacturers to occasionally place a coupon on their site.
