5 colors
I like having multiple colors because when I use highlighters (and I use them a lot) I like to be able to highlight things based on what they mean to me. Like yellow means done, pink means outstanding, or whatever! In my career I have noticed that color makes all the difference in the world when giving documents to people. This 5 color set has Yellow, Pink, Purple, Green and Blue. All colors are easy to read through, and the shades are different enough that they stand out from each other.
The Design
These highlighters have a long barrel of ink and a pointed end. My only issue with this is sometimes if I don't hold the highlighter exactly right, I end up drawing a really thin line instead of highlighting a thick mark like I intended. It may be a little too pointy, but the other qualities make up for this. Each has a cap with a colored handle so you know which is which. The caps snap on tight so there's no fear of losing them or the highlighters drying out.
Liquid Pigment Ink
The ink is liquid and comes out quick and easy on the first try. I am never stuck re-highlighting as I have done with other types of highlighters. I didn't notice any smudging of the text underneath.
See Through Barrels
Each highlighter is mostly see-through so you can tell how much ink is left. This means you'll have plenty of warning of when you'll need to buy a new set! The highlighters seem to last a long time as I can hardly tell that the liquid is less than when I started using these a few months ago.
Nice Little Carrying Case!
The final feature of these highlighters is the nifty carrying case. The case was specifically designed for these 5 highlighters. Each highlighter snaps into place inside the case, and a plastic flap comes down and tucks into a slot to keep them in there. This means that I can carry 5 highlighters with me to meetings and not worry about dropping any. This sturdy case will definitely last as long as, or even longer than the highlighters.
Conclusion
This is an easy to use set of highlighters that should help you with your on-the-go, multi-color needs! The tips may be a little pointy, but otherwise it's got everything someone like me (who loves to highlight) needs!
