For those of you that have forgotten about this case, Zeiter vs., City of Royal Oak states that the city was negligent in failing to maintain the public sidewalk at 516 Stephenson Highway. The plaintiff fell in that area and fractured her arm, and broke her nose.
In September, the evaluation panel created by the city to investigate Zeiter vs. City of Roseville came to terms with the plaintiff, and recommended a settlement of $19,500. At the November 8th special meeting for the Royal Oak City Commission, the city commissioners will be signing off on this settlement, and this case.
