1. Whiskey and Soda:
Good news for whiskey fans! There are 0 carbohydrates in whiskey! Make sure to mix it with a diet soda to be sure that you are sticking to zero carbohydrates because if you do a whiskey and regular soda you will be in taking close to 30 grams of carb's.
2. Pina Colada's:
Do you like a drink that is smooth and frothy? Well if you have a Pina Colada made like the following recipe then you can still enjoy them as a zero carbohydrate drink!
• ½ Cup Ice
• 1 Teaspoon Pineapple Extract
• 1 Ounce Natural Coconut Syrup
• 1 Ounce White Rum
Combine all these into a blender and blend on high till the drink becomes smooth and frothy! It contains 0 Carbohydrates so enjoy it!
3. Lemon Margarita's:
Like a bit of lemon in your margarita? Use the following recipe to make a margarita that you will be sure to enjoy. This makes 4 cups of margaritas so invite a few friends over to share with you while you enjoy this low carbohydrate drink!
• Coarse Salt or Splenda
• 1 Tub Crystal Light Lemonade Drink Mix
• 8 Ounces Unflavored Sparkling Water
• ¾ Cup Tequila
• ½ Cup Fresh Lime Juice
• ¼ Cup Sugar Free Orange Syrup
• 3 Cups Small Ice Cubes
Dip the tops of the margarita glasses into water and then dip them into the coarse salt or splenda, this is a step that you can skip if you would prefer not to have the tops dipped in anything.
Mix all ingredients into blender and process until slushy. Pour into the margarita glasses and serve immediately.
This drink would be considered a low carbohydrate drink because it contains only about 3 grams of carbohydrates!
Ok I did not forget about those of you out there that would prefer to drink a beer instead of a mixed drink! Listed below are a few beers that are low carbohydrate for you to enjoy as well!
4. Coors Light:
This beer has only 5 grams of Carbohydrates to every 12 ounce serving.
5. Michelob Ultra:
This beer has just 2.6 grams of Carbohydrates to every 12 ounce serving!
6. Miller Lite:
The Lite Beer has just 3.2 grams of Carbohydrates to every 12 ounce serving.
