Zero Punctiaton: Good or Bad?

Zero Puncation by Yahztee is one of the more popular gaming review articles(or video however you want to call it) on the internet. Yahztee acts as the reviewer in all of the videos where he speaks quickly and always introduces some sort of reference to hookers and sexual innuendos in all of his videos. Nonetheless he reviews games in a way that few people do.

Unlike most game review videos and articles, Zero Punctuation doesn't have a rating system in fact for most games Yahtzee doesn't even say that its good,bad or great.You also don't get a numerical score for how good a game is. What you get is a somewhat unbiased opinion on how certain aspects of the game are like gameplay,storyline etc. Yahtzee is quite biased towards games that have "good" gameplay and are unique as opposed to games that are sequels etc. What differentiates Zero Punctuation from most game reviews is that Yahtzee is more than willing to show the flaws of a game while not hyping up things that he liked in the game. And he does all this in a somewhat comical manner.

What may turn people off about Zero Punctuation is exactly what the name suggests, Yahtzee talks really fast which may lead to some people having to rewind the video just to figure out what he said. It's not that big of a deal especially if you get used to it, but people who are first timers or new to Zero Punctuation might struggle to understand him.

Watching him review games is sometimes fun and sometimes agonizing. If you are a fanboy of a series and you absolutely cannot bare to see your favorite game critiqued mercilessly then Zero Punctuation is definitely not for you. On the other hand if you are someone who enjoys seeing games made fun of and finding out if it's something you might like then go ahead and watch.
