Zhu Zhu Pets Toxic

Are Zhu Zhu Pets toxic or is it just a rumor? After reporting on Zhu Zhu Pets Play Hard to Get, is it worth the hassles? Zhu Zhu Pets toxic rumors definitely put a damper on the desire to clamor to get these for the kiddies.

Before I get in on this holiday trend, I decide to do the research. According to Telling it Like It Is, Zhu Zhu Pets toxic rumors might have some validity. It seems Dara O'Rourke, the co-founder of GoodGuide, tested these popular little critters. Zhu Zhu pets contain higher levels of tin and antimony, metals with possible health hazards.

O'Rourke stated about the metals, "If ingested in high enough levels can lead to cancer, reproductive health, and other human health hazards."

Zhu Zhu Pets toxic rumors are fueled by the fact they are made in China. Their company, Cepia, LLC, is headquartered in Missouri and disputes the findings of GoodGuide, stating the toys are safe and compliant.

There is no recall of Zhu Zhu Pets at this time. Will you listen to Zhu Zhu Pets toxic rumors or will you be buying them for your children?

I bought the zhuzhu pet house, slide, and 3 hamsters for my kids for christmas. This was before the "toxic rumors" started. I keep the hamsters out of reach of the kids unless I am around...just to make sure they don't get in their mouths. I will continue this until we find out for sure if they really are toxic. And all the reports state that "squiggles" is toxic...what about the other hamster???
