When you drive up to Ziggy's at night you'll first notice the flashing lights that illuminate the Ziggy name underneath the canopy. As soon as you walk in the door you see more lights lining the ceiling with white fabric that seems to simply float from the ceiling. There is a bar to your left at the entrance and tables towards the stage located at the far right of the building. The section near the back has a lovely leather sofa for your relaxing enjoyment and another bar with very large leather stools towards the side of the building.
At Ziggy's the colors really pop inside! They have furniture with shades of orange, red and yellow. This is a wonderful contrast against the black ceilings and the brunt red and orange walls and on every table you'll see candles lit and lovely table linens. Once I completed my tour I settled in close to the stage and then turned my focus to the menu. Ziggy's Jazz and Blues restaurant sells a few upscale food items that include Tilapia and other Seafood, but there main dishes are chicken tenders, chicken wings and other bar cuisine. However, their bar is fully stocked with any mixed or exotic drink that you desire. Since it was after 8 p.m. at night, I ordered a small portion of their lemon pepper wings and they were good.
Once I enjoyed my snack, I was ready for some LIVE music. Ziggy's Jazz and Blues has phenomenal artist that come out on Fridays and Saturday nights. The LIVE music is worth the price of admission! You'll enjoy music from artist like Grover Washington Junior to Miles Davis or perhaps a little bit of 70s and 80s Prince or MJ.
Ziggy's Jazz and Blues restaurant also offers networking events on Tuesday nights as well as Spoken word events throughout the year. Ziggy's is also available for private events such as wedding rehearsals, birthday parties or corporate events. Give them a call today at 770-962-6057 for more information and reservations.Bottom-line: Great LIVE music, good food, prices range from $7.00 to $15.00 and admission is typically $10.00. When you think Jazz, think Ziggy's
