Ziva's Father Arrives on "NCIS" and Ziva and Gibbs Must Protect Him on "NCIS"

"NCIS" enters the sweeps with a two part episode. Tonight's episode is entitled "Enemies Foreign" with next week's episode, "Enemies Domestic."

Guest star Michael Nouri reprises his role as Special Agent Ziva David's father, Mossad Director Eli David. The "NCIS" team will have to protect Ziva's father while he is attending an NCIS conference and the spotlight will be on Ziva as she confronts her past.

Ziva, played by the talented Cote de Pablo, was trained by her father and, at one time, was a high ranking member of the Mossad. In the first episode when we meet Ziva, she kills her own brother to save the life of one Leroy Jethro Gibbs, a special agent with NCIS. Jethro recognizes Ziva's raw talent and knows she will be an asset to his team. The only question that remained was Ziva on Jethro's side or an agent for the Massad.

Ziva has a special love/hate relationship with her father played by Michael Nouri. She loves him because he is her father, yet the last time these two met, Mossad Director Eli David practically left Ziva to die in the desert. Guess that is a pretty good reason to hate your father.

Michael Nouri has had a recurring guest roll in "NCIS" for as almost as long as Ziva has been a part of the show. Tonight, will the team be able to protect Ziva's father and will Ziva be able to handle the extra stress involved in being reunited with her father?

The interesting thing is Ziva may be able to overlook her father's short comings, but one person on the team cannot. And that's Leroy Jethro Gibbs. Now, Special Agent Gibbs has to protect a man who hurt a member of his team and figure out just who is after them. You know that will not be easy.

Only time, and "NCIS" episode "Enemies Domestic," can answer those questions. NCIS airs on CBS on Tuesdays at 8:00 EST.
