Game Background
Help the brave volunteer racers compete to see who is the greatest racer in this zombie-packed racing simulation.
Gameplay
When you begin, you will be presented with three different racers with different stats. Stats presented will display information on health, speed and handling.
Once you have selected a player, you will be sent to the track selection page. Each track will display a set of information, which includes the level number, the total number of laps, the required score needed to unlock the next track, the score you have received (blank if no score), and the scores needed to achieve First, Second, and Third Place, respectively.
Once you select a track and go through some instructions, the race will start. Go forward by pressing the up arrow. Maneuver your vehicle with the arrow keys.
There are two bars on the left hand side of the screen that you should pay attention to. The top most bar indicates the amount of nitrous oxide that you have. Press z to use the nitrous oxide to greatly increase the speed of your vehicle. You can collect more along the way if you run out.
The second bar indicates the health of your vehicle. Running into bombs is one way of decreasing this bar. You can pick up repair items to help you repair your damaged vehicle.
There will be a number of items on the road for you to collect. These include:
-water: makes other drivers who run over the water have a harder time to maneuver
-oil: also makes it difficult for drivers who run over the oil
-bomb: plant a bomb for others to run into and be damaged by
-repair: repairs your vehicle
-nitrous oxide: increase your supply of nitrous oxide
There will be zombies that stand on the road. Hit them to increase your score.
At the end of the race, you will be presented with a performance report that will score you based on what place you finished and on how many zombies you ran over.
Complete all of the tracks to see who is the best driver of all time!
Game Review
Zombie Racing is a fun little racing simulator that includes zombies for those who enjoy a little undead fun. The idea of having the option of running over zombies adds a little spice to the game. The number of items also adds more entertainment value.
Overall, Zombie Racing scores a 7/10 for its good level of entertainment.
