Before going to far in this article I would like to give a little history about Winsor Pilates. Winsor Pilates was developed by Joseph Pilates who was avid about body conditioning.

From an early child Joseph had a passion for fitness and as a direct result created Pilates a distinct sequence of move to balance the body and mind.

Now that we have covered a bit of the history the main purpose of this article will be to discuss Zone Pilates methods. The zone Pilate's method mainly focuses on exercises which stretch, strengthen, and tone all the muscles of the body and focus on a balanced mind. Here are some of the most basic principles of Zone Pilates:

1. Concentration;

2. Control or Precision;

3. Centering; Stabilizing;

4. Breathing;

5. Alignment;

6. Fluidity;

7. Integration.

All of the above Zone Pilates basic methods have their own basic characteristics.

The core of the zone Pilate's fitness program is centered around bodyweight and stretching, strengthening, and toning all the muscles of the body and back.

As a result, the Zone Pilates routine provides methods to those whom wish to learn. It is a bit more advanced than plain Pilates and it leaves your body strong, flexible and relaxed.

The concentration in Zone Pilates is much greater than regular Pilates in principle. The body will be improved by mind and body connection which allow you to achieve the movements of Zone Pilates.

Control refers to the ability to be less worried about forceful results and therefore makes you less emphatic.

Centering is about everything mental that creates a calm body to spirit.

Stabilizing is all about having the standard principles of coordination to move you to a safe starting place for kinesics.

Relaxation is all about keeping the muscles focused through initiate mobility from inhaling and exhaling.

With Zone Pilates basic principle, you will find yourself very conscious of the position of your neck on the spine and pelvis, right down through the legs and toes.

With Fluidity it is all about a smooth, continuous motion rather than jazzy repetitions will create an elegant and graceful look.

Lastly, the integration of all those Zone Pilates basic principles allows you to have a holistic mind-body workout.
