The Zoobic Safari is a 37 acre compound. It is open daily to visitors from 8am to 4pm. The entrance fee for children is P295 or about $6.27. That is if the child is 4 feet or under. Anyone who is 3 feet or under, admission into the zoo is free. For adults, the fee is P395 or $8.40 and for senior citizens, it is P316 or $6.72. Tour guides are included with the price of admission. For those interested, they also offer room accommodations. If visiting the zoo from Manila, it will only take a visitor about a 3 hour drive through the North Luzon expressway.
The Zoobic Safari has about 500 animals that contain about 50 different species. These 500 animals include 50 ostriches, guinea fowls, pot bellied pigs, various deer species and wild boars. Visitors can see all of these animals through a ride. If visitors opt to walk through the zoo, they can view animals at close range which include birds, a bear cat, a black bear, deer, birds, a cloud rat, a civet cat, an albino caribou as well as a cassowary.
Visitors are also able to purchase food baskets that contain vegetables and fruits and are allowed to feed some of the animals at the zoo. The Zoobic Safari has an animal care center where visitors can view how animals are injured, quarantined, under incubation or just any animal that is in need of care. There is also a discovery store where visitors can choose from animal souvenirs, apparel and even postcards. The Zoobic Safari also has a restaurant.
Another attraction within the Zoobic Safari is what is called Rodent World. This is where they exhibit different forms of rodents such as the cloud rat, husky rat, mongoose, rabbit and guinea pig. Visitors can even view these types of animals being bathed as well as shampooed.
One of the main attractions of the Zoobic Safari is of course the tiger safari where visitors are able to view these majestic creatures from only 2 feet away while being seated inside a modified tiger stripe safari jeep. Visitors will appreciate the 7 acre enclosure which imitates the natural surroundings for the tigers. Adult tigers here weight between 600 to 1,000 pounds. Visitors can have a close encounter with them with only a wire fence for separation. Visitors can also choose to feed the tigers with a live chicken if they prefer a bit of a thrill. In the past, these tigers have jumped onto the roof of the jeep which can be an exciting or maybe a terrifying moment.
