Zoosk Free Online Dating Website

Zoosk is a relatively new and totally free online dating website. Similar to Match.com, Matchmaker.com and YahooPersonals.com, Zoosk provides profiles, pictures, essays and search capabilities for singles seeking love online.

Zoosk seems a decent site and provides similar features to the other more well known and established sites. Members fill in fairly thorough profiles, can include essay narratives, upload pictures and can even select any number of "ice breaker" questions for interested daters to send them.

The Zoosk online dating platform also allows people to search using most common criteria, from height and weight, to education and income, to interest criteria and all within various distance or geographical areas.

Most of the Zoosk internet dating site features are similar to those found on the better known and more established sites like Match.com, etc. Zoosk, however, is far less professional in appearance and style. It has the feel of a less sophisticated internet dating resource.

But then again, the Zoosk online dating website is totally free to users. Members can post their own profiles and pictures and search all other profiles and pictures without paying a dime. And unlike the other paid internet dating sites, users can also email and IM with other users without paying. With little significant difference in overall performance, this is a major plus for internet daters tired of paying high prices month after month while trying to find their love.

In fact, there is so little real difference in the Zoosk online dating website and the other more expensive sites, I would totally recommend it for the budget conscious were it not for the fact that Zoosk, as of this writing, is still new enough that it has too few users/members to give daters many options. I found in my own area that a small percentage of the daters also on Match.com are also on Zoosk along with a few others. Still, there were not enough eligible daters on there for me to want to spend much time on the site.

It's entirely possible that the dating population on Zoosk will get better over time as more and more people become aware of it, as the site appearance quality improves and as singles get tired of paying monthly fees for a service that can now be had for free. I will, for that reason, keep my profile up on Zoosk and will continue to visit and support the site. Good people are on there, there are just fewer of them. But if more people support and use the site, that one main flaw should eventually be overcome.

And free quality online dating websites like Zoosk are most welcome to those of us looking for our soul mates.
