Zsa Zsa Gabor Slips into Coma Following Surgery

(LOS ANGELES, CA) '" Zsa Zsa Gabor has slipped in to a coma following surgery in a Los Angeles hospital according to numerous news reports.

Gabor, 94, was rushed to the hospital Tuesday night for profuse bleeding in the stomach from the site where her feeding tube is located. Gabor's husband, Prince Frederic von Anhalt, said that blood was gushing out at an alarming rate. Gabor underwent emergency surgery Tuesday night to correct the bleeding problem and slipped into a coma shortly after. Frederic von Anhalt has been by her side since the surgery.

Gabor's health took a deep dive in declining this past year with a hip replacement, a leg amputation and most recently being hospitalized earlier in May for pneumonia. Gabor has been unable to walk since a serious car accident in 2002, when her health first started to decline.

Gabor, originally from Hungary, where she was crowned "Miss Hungary" in 1936, began her acting career in Hungary on stage. She then moved to the United States and continued making movies throughout the '‹Å"50's, making appearances on several television series, as well as voice-overs on animated films and television series. A few of the movies Gabor had roles in are "A Touch of Evil", "Moulin Rouge", "The Story of Three Loves", and The "Girl in the Kremlin".

Gabor is also well known for her many marriages, the latest of course to Prince Frederic von Anhalt.
